Friendly vs Harmful Bacteria

The ideal ratio of friendly to harmful bacteria
is 80:20. In 1899, French researcher Henry Tisser
discovered that a healthy intestine depends on the
condition of the friendly bacteria and the control
they exert over the harmful types.

A healthy population of the friendly bacteria
helps to:

> Suppress undesirable bacteria.
> Produce natural antibiotics
> Stimulate the immune system
> Encourage a good environment for resident friendly
bacteria such as Bifidus, so that they predominate
in the large intestine and play a major role in
maintaining a balanced and healthy intestinal tract.
